Get to know the "The Lost World" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle it is in the oldest region of the world named Roraima. The first continent in the world, home to unique species on earth. Come and enjoy our company experts and local indigenous guides who will make your visit an incomparable real adventure.
Day 1: Transfer by car 4x4 from Santa Elena to Paraitepuy (Roraima Base Camp), here the roads are finished and you can only walk this stretch is usually covered in an hour and a half. Once in Parai Tepui are completed with fixed backpacks we will undertake the walk that takes about 4 hours to (Tek River Camp) where our first camp is made. On the way a light lunch consisting of sandwiches and fruit is taken. On arrival at the site overnight tents left arm themselves and enjoy an excellent night outdoors. While walking through several hills, the climb is zero, since it is part of 1,250 meters above sea level and 1,140 meters above day sea level culminates.
Day 2: Breakfast and departure at 08:30 heading to the base camp in the foothills of Tepuy. This route consists of approximately 6 hours and is more intense than the previous day. The goal of this day is to reach the base of Mount Roraima where the second camp is established. From here the view of the Gran Sabana is beautiful and pretty detail that can see clearly the path so far. By this time you get to 1,835 meters above sea level.
Day 3: Departure at 09:00 for the summit of Roraima, this climb is done in about 6 hours. This is even more demanding than the first and second day, it ascends one of the slopes of Roraima until it stops. The vegetation and the magnitude of its walls are something really impressive.
It is a huge giant that rises vertically from the ground that magnitude no words can describe his greatness. At the end of the day an altitude of 2,710 meters above sea level is reached.
On the surface of Roraima are caves known as "hotels". They are big holes that simulate caves where the camps are usually put as they provide shelter from rain and wind. Depending on what is available, you use one or the other.
Day 4: This day is quiet, relaxing and hiking, take advantage to visit the attractions and natural beauty of the "Lost World" at the top of Tepuy Roraima; including: The valley of the glass, The Window + lots of nature jacuzzis and much more.
Day 5: Start of return and descent to the Tek river which can take about 6 hours, this is one of the most intense days because it gets off the tepui with all the weight on his back, the use of canes is recommended. This time you walk up to where he was the first camp.
Day 6: Return from the river to Parai tepuy Tek, the walk takes about 4 hours. Here we are again where it virtually now real all started. Our driver in 4x4 will take us to Santa Elena de Uairen to celebrate and perhaps now for the first time eat a delicious pizza and prepare our return the next day.

The days of walking no hot food for lunch is cooked. Sandwiches are made. This allows people further progress and avoid delays in the stipulated time for the walk of the day. Please give the bread that was given the first day because this is for your personal use during the six days.
Food shelters: On the way to Roraima, in the first camp in the Tek River and the second called base camp, in both food can be stored. Check in times
Check-IN: According convenience of the traveler
San Francisco de Yuruaní, Estado Bolívar.
Simon Bolivar International Airport in Maiquetia o the helicopter landing pad nearby - if not the Airport in Santa Elena
General It is suggested that during the walk, tourists move beyond where you go the guide or the first carrier. Especially the third day, climbing the ramp. There is a place called "the passage of tears" where the track is divided into three alternatives and is extremely important to take the right path. Please wait for the guide, do not take a path without knowing whether it is correct. There have been accidents with groups of other companies. But we must learn from everyone to avoid mishaps.
Clothes Reducing the weight of the backpack is essential. Do not pretend to wear clean clothes every day. We suggest that the amount of clothes to wear it for two days. Wear clothes for six days would be too much weight and if it gets wet weight increases. Bring clothes in plastic bags stored in case the bag gets wet by rain and prevent the contents from getting wet. waterproof poncho type is suggested. We recommend for day 3 and 5 (ascent and descent) short sleeve shirt and shorts with sturdy shoes (boots). For days 1, 2,4 and 6 recommend long-sleeved shirt, long pants (midges) and soft shoes (gentle slopes).
Shoes Two types of shoes, soft shoes for the longest walk and strong shoe for promotion that is stone, for the third day and the fifth day is the descent is recommended.
